PAX A30

Learn how to use the PAX A30 payment terminal.


PAX A30

The PAX A30 is a tabletop payment terminal for use with the Finix API. It uses Wi-Fi or ethernet to connect with the internet.

Connecting the Device

The PAX A30 terminal comes with a USB cable.

To setup the PAX A30 terminal, connect the USB cable to a power source.

Hold down the power button until the screen lights up and follow the on-screen instructions to install any updates and get the terminal connected to the internet.

Once connected to the internet, setup your terminal with Finix using the Device resource: Create a Device

Internet

The PAX A30 payment terminal can connect to the internet using:

  • a Wi-Fi network
  • an ethernet cable
  • the included USB cable

We strongly recommend using a Wi-Fi or Ethernet connection to connect the PAX A30 to the internet.
