Lane 8000

The Lane 8000 is a tabletop payment terminal that's available to use with the Finix API. The Lane 8000 uses an ethernet connection to connect with your network and is a premium version of the Lane 7000, offering all the same functionality except with a larger touch-screen.

You can find the user manual of the Lane 8000 here: Lane 8000.

Using the Device

The Lane 7000 comes with a HDMI cable that splits into:

  • a RJ45 Ethernet cable
  • an input for an external power port that we provide.

The standard cable is 2 meters long. If you require a different cable or connection, see Managing Payment Terminals for the different terminals Finix has available or reach out to your Finix point of contact.

Powering the Device

After you follow the steps to get the terminal set up with the Finix API, connecting the terminal to power and an ethernet port (with internet) will automatically turn it on and set it ready to process payments.

The payment terminal has separate payment mounts and stands you can get to fit your use case. There are also variants of this device with Wi-Fi capabilities, which you can request by reaching out your Finix point of contact or emailing
